Police Issue False Press Release Accusing Air Base Protesters Of Violence, Vandalism
Dramatization of Hospitalcide at Main Gate:
On Thursday morning, January 23, 2025, almost 50 people gathered at Fairfield’s Travis Air Force Base, to protest Travis’s role in shipping U.S. weapons to Israel, aiding in the genocide of the Palestinian people.
"While we rejoice in the current so-called ‘ceasefire’ for Gaza, we recognize that it is only for 6 weeks, and even that is precarious. It must become permanent. Until then, the only way to stop the obscenity and scale of Israeli war crimes in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, and beyond is to EMBARGO ALL US MILITARY AID AND WEAPONS SUPPLY TO ISRAEL.”
The “hospitalcide” of Gaza was reenacted with dramatic street theater within sight of the U.S. Air Force's largest medical facility in the country. Carrying a very large cardboard Kamal Adwan Hospital, demonstrator “patients” in hospital gowns, bandaged body parts, walkers and wheelchairs were accompanied by “nurses and doctors.” All were attacked by “IDF soldiers” carrying large cardboard automatic rifles. Posters with the story of Director Hussam Abu Safiya rounded out the scene to recreate Israel’s Dec. 27 attack on and destruction of the last standing one in Northern Gaza. (Dr. Abu Safiya was arrested and “disappeared” and is thought to be in Israel’s notorious Ofer Military Prison, known for torture and other abuses.) Every time the light turned red for cars, the hospitalcide theater traversed the crosswalk, ending on the other side with “dead” patients and hospital staff and the kidnapping of Dr. Abu Safiya by the IDF soldiers.
This horrific scene was recreated for approximately two hours while educational flyers were distributed to accepting drivers stopped at the light. Anti-genocide signs and banners were displayed widely throughout the action, music and song kindled hope and inspiration, and numerous Travis visitors waved and gave sporadic peace signs and supportive horn honks. Vietnam era Veteran, Gerry Condon, organized a Veterans For Peace contingent that particularly addressed messaging, support and outreach needs to military personnel on the base; fostering GI resistance to help demilitarize our society is an added goal.
Grass Valley activist, Shirley Osgood, wore a long dress, with hundreds of names of Palestinian infants and babies known to have been killed in the genocide.
It was a dramatic and heartfelt action that is sure to have an impact on all that observed it.
People’s Blockade at North Gate:
Later, at about 2pm, a group of 8 activists, along with Franklin Sterling, KPFA’s independent journalist, regrouped at the North Gate to bring our “human blockade” insignia to the base: “If our government won’t stop arming Israel, then we, the people, will stop it ourselves.” Quickly parking our cars, five human blockaders stretched across the two lane Gate Rd to create the “people’s embargo.” Their large banner said, "STOP GENOCIDE”; their signs included: "PROSECUTE COL. JOHNSON 4 WAR CRIMES” (Travis’ commander) and “NOT ANOTHER BOMB.” A legal observer was present and other support folks.
Tensions rose quickly: Some of the drivers of the blocked cars became aggressive, using their vehicle as weapon to attempt to plow through the human blockade. The blockaders relinquished with the most aggressive drivers, allowing them to pass. They also allowed “special cases” to bypass the blockade (neighbors who live next to the base, people coming for medical appointments, a child being delivered home near the base, etc.)
At one point, an irate man got out of his car, and without warning, grabbed veteran and Veterans For Peace member Michael Kerr by the shoulders near his neck and dragged him sideways to the other side of the street. Luckily Michael was not harmed physically, and stayed calm without escalating the situation, in the spirit of our nonviolent campaign.
Ultimately the blockade held for approximately 45 minutes, at which point about 15 riot police arrived on foot from the base, giving orders to disperse. Three women, Kathie Moon, Shawna Bell and Toby Blomé remained in the blockade to continue to “put our bodies between U.S. weapons and the people of Gaza.” All three, two grandmothers and a therapist, were handcuffed and boarded onto a police van.
Shortly thereafter, Michael Kerr, acting only as a support person, was also handcuffed and boarded onto the police van because a driver (the same one who assaulted him earlier?) reported to the police that Michael had been throwing rocks. Thankfully, a short while later the false claimer recanted on his statement and Michael was released. Maybe he realized that the entire scene was captured on video?
The remaining arrestees were taken to Fairfield Jail and booked with two charges: Disobeying an order and jay walking. After almost eight hours they were cited and released at 11:00 PM. Our faithful jail support person, Fred Bialy, was ready to greet us. All three have orders to appear in court on March 20.
Thus far, the many dozens who have been arrested at Travis in ongoing anti-genocide protests since December 2023 have all had their charges dismissed, with all scheduled court hearings cancelled.
3 Cars Towed and the Vindictiveness of the Fairfield Police Department:
After the blockade, the Fairfield police (illegally) prevented the three remaining support folks from retrieving their cars for 30 minutes until three tow trucks arrived to tow their cars away. The cars were parked on the side of the road with (newly installed?) inconspicuous no parking signs. In previous actions we had parked in the same area without incident, despite dozens of police present.
Using Uber to get to the police station, the vehicle owners had to pay $700 each in total fees to get their cars back! There is a GoFundMe Fundraiser to support them. We will have our day in court with the Fairfield Police.
In addition, Wynd received a call from a reporter at Bay City News Service who told her that the Fairfield police had issued a press release that claimed the protestors were violent, threw rocks, and broke the windshield of a car. Wynd corrected the false information, and the reporter published a more balanced article. Sadly, early news reports emphasized the false claims of violence by activists.
A legal observer present noted that many of the drivers trying to get into the base at the site of the blockade were the most aggressive they had ever seen.
David Solnit, well-known artist-activist who has contributed impactful visuals to our campaign, declared, “No good deed goes unpunished.”
We are reminded of Mahatma Gandhi’s famous words:
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they will fight you, and then you win.”
They are fighting us now. We will not back down.
But we need more to succeed. Please join our campaign!

The End of Pluralism in the Middle East: A Devil's Bargain By Craig Murray
Reposting today as my understanding of events in Syria is quite limited compared with Murray, a Scottish journalist I trust who was formerly British ambassador to Uzbekistan. He is now persecuted by the UK government for his outspoken support of Palestinians.
The End of Pluralism in the Middle East
by Craig Murray
Republished from craigmurray.org.uk Dec 6, 2024
A truly seismic change in the Middle East appears to be happening very fast. At its heart is a devil’s bargain – Turkey and the Gulf States accept the annihilation of the Palestinian nation and creation of a Greater Israel, in return for the annihilation of the Shia minorities of Syria and Lebanon and the imposition of Salafism across the Eastern Arab world.
This also spells the end for Lebanon and Syria’s Christian communities, as witness the tearing down of all Christmas decorations, the smashing of all alcohol and the forced imposition of the veil on women in Aleppo now.
Yesterday US Warthog air-to-ground jets attacked and severely depleted reinforcements which were, at the invitation of the Syrian government, en route to Syria from Iraq. Constant, daily Israeli airstrikes on Syria’s military infrastructure for months have been a major factor in the demoralisation and reduced capacity of the Syrian government’s Syrian Arab Army, which has simply evaporated in Aleppo and Hama.
It is very difficult to see the tide turning in Syria. The Russians now have either to massively reinforce their Syrian bases with ground troops or to evacuate them. Faced with the exigencies of Ukraine, they may do the latter, and it is reported that the Russian navy has already set sail from Tartus.
The speed of collapse of Syria has taken everybody by surprise. If the situation does not stabilise, Damascus could be besieged and ISIS back on the hills above the Bekaa valley within a week, given the speed of their advance and the short distances involved.
A renewed Israeli attack on Southern Lebanon to coincide with a Salafist invasion of the Bekaa Valley would then seem inevitable, as the Israelis would obviously wish their border with their new Taliban-style Greater Syrian neighbour to be as far North as possible. It could be a race for Beirut, unless the Americans have already organised who gets it.
It is no coincidence that the attack on Syria started the day of the Lebanon/Israel ceasefire. The jihadist forces do not want to be seen to be fighting alongside Israel, even though they are fighting forces which have been relentlessly bombed by Israel, and in the case of Hezbollah are exhausted from fighting Israel.
The Times of Israel has no compunction about saying the quiet part out loud, unlike the British media:

bigger
In fact Israeli media is giving a lot more truth about the Syrian rebel forces than British and American media just now. This is another article from the Times of Israel:
While HTS officially seceded from Al Qaeda in 2016, it remains a Salafi jihadi organization designated as a terror organization in the US, the EU and other countries, with tens of thousands of fighters.
Its sudden surge raises concerns that a potential takeover of Syria could transform it into an Islamist, Taliban-like regime – with repercussions for Israel at its south-western border. Others, however, see the offensive as a positive development for Israel and a further blow to the Iranian axis in the region.
Contrast this to the UK media, which from the Telegraph and Express to the Guardian has promoted the official narrative that not just the same organisations, but the same people responsible for mass torture and executions of non-Sunnis, including Western journalists, are now cuddly liberals.
Nowhere is this more obvious than the case of Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani, sometimes spelt Al-Julani or Al-Golani, who is now being boosted throughout western media as a moderate leader. He was the deputy leader of ISIS, and the CIA actually has a $10 million bounty on his head! Yes, that is the same CIA which is funding and equipping him and giving him air support.
Supporters of the Syrian rebels still attempt to deny that they have Israeli and US support – despite the fact that almost a decade ago there was open Congressional testimony in the USA that, to that point, over half a billion dollars had been spent on assistance to Syrian rebel forces, and the Israelis have openly been providing medical and other services to the jihadists and effective air support.
One interesting consequence of this joint NATO/Israel support for the jihadist groups in Syria is a further perversion of domestic rule of law. To take the UK as an example, under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act it is illegal to state an opinion that supports, or may lead somebody else to support, a proscribed organisation.
The abuse of this provision by British police to persecute Palestinian supporters for allegedly encouraging support for proscribed organisations Hamas and Hezbollah is notorious, with even tangential alleged references leading to arrest. Sarah Wilkinson, Richard Medhurst, Asa Winstanley, Richard Barnard and myself are all notable victims, and the persecution has been greatly intensified by Keir Starmer.
Yet Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) is also a proscribed group in the UK. But both British mainstream media and British Muslim outlets have been openly promoting and praising HTS for a week – frankly much more openly than I have ever witnessed anyone in the UK support Hamas and Hezbollah – and not a single person has been arrested or even warned by UK police.

That in itself is the strongest of indications that western security services are fully behind the current attack on Syria.
For the record, I think it is an appalling law, and nobody should be prosecuted for expressing an opinion either way. But the politically biased application of the law is undeniable.
When the entire corporate and state media in the West puts out a unified narrative that Syrians are overjoyed to be released by HTS from the tyranny of the Assad regime – and says nothing whatsoever of the accompanying torture and execution of Shias, and destruction of Christmas decorations and icons – it ought to be obvious to everybody where this is coming from.
Yet – and this is another UK domestic repercussion – a very substantial number of Muslims in the UK support HTS and the Syrian rebels, because of the funding pumped into UK mosques from Saudi and Emirate Salafist sources. This is allied to the UK security service influence also wielded through the mosques, both by sponsorship programmes and “think tanks” benefiting approved religious leaders, and by the execrable coercive Prevent programme.
UK Muslim outlets that have been ostensibly pro-Palestinian – like Middle East Eye and 5 Pillars – enthusiastically back Israel’s Syrian allies in ensuring the destruction of resistance to the genocide of the Palestinians. Al Jazeera alternates between items detailing dreadful massacre in Palestine, and items extolling the Syrian rebels bringing Israel-allied rule to Syria.
Among the mechanisms they employ to reconcile this is a refusal to acknowledge the vital role of Syria in enabling the supply of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah. Which supply the jihadists have now cut off, to the absolute delight of Israel, and in conjunction with both Israeli and US air strikes.
In the final analysis, for many Sunni Muslims both in the Middle East and in the West, the pull seems to be stronger of sectarian hatred of the Shia and the imposition of Salafism, than preventing the ultimate destruction of the Palestinian nation.
I am not a Muslim. My Muslim friends happen to be almost entirely Sunni. I personally regard the continuing division over the leadership of the religion over a millennium ago as deeply unhelpful and a source of unnecessary continued hate.
But as a historian I do know that the western colonial powers have consciously and explicitly used the Sunni/Shia split for centuries to divide and rule. In the 1830’s, Alexander Burnes was writing reports on how to use the division in Sind between Shia rulers and Sunni populations to aid British colonial expansion.
On 12 May 1838, in his letter from Simla setting out his decision to launch the first British invasion of Afghanistan, British Governor General Lord Auckland included plans to exploit Shia/Sunni division in both Sind and Afghanistan to aid the British military attack.
The colonial powers have been doing it for centuries, Muslim communities keep falling for it, and the British and Americans are doing it right now to further their remodelling of the Middle East.
Simply put, many Sunni Muslims have been brainwashed into hating Shia Muslims more than they hate those currently committing genocide of an overwhelmingly Sunni population in Gaza.
I refer to the UK because I witnessed this first hand during the election campaign in Blackburn. But the same is true all over the Muslim world. Not one Sunni Muslim-led state has lifted a single finger to prevent the genocide of the Palestinians.
Their leadership is using anti-Shia sectarianism to maintain popular support for a de facto alliance with Israel against the only groups – Iran, Houthi and Hezbollah – which actually did attempt to give the Palestinians practical support in resistance. And against the Syrian government which facilitated supply.
The unspoken but very real bargain is this. The Sunni powers will accept the wiping out of the entire Palestinian nation and formation of Greater Israel, in return for the annihilation of the Shia communities in Syria and Lebanon by Israel and forces backed by NATO (including Turkey).
There are, of course, contradictions in this grand alliance. The United States’ Kurdish allies in Iraq are unlikely to be happy with Turkey’s destruction of Kurdish groups in Syria, which is what ErdoÄŸan gains from Turkey’s very active military role in toppling Syria – in addition to extending Turkish control of oilfields.
The Iran-friendly Iraqi government will have further difficulty with reconciling US continuing occupation of swathes of its country, as they realise they are the next target.
The Lebanese army is under control of the USA, and Hezbollah must have been greatly weakened to have agreed the disastrous ceasefire with Israel. Christian fascist militias traditionally allied to Israel are increasingly visible in parts of Beirut, though whether they would be stupid enough to make common cause with jihadists from the North may be open to question. But should Syria fall entirely to jihadist rule – which may happen fast – I do not rule out Lebanon following very quickly indeed, and being integrated into a Salafist Greater Syria.
How the Palestinians of Jordan would react to this disastrous turn of events, it is hard to be sure. The British puppet Hashemite Kingdom is the designated destination for ethnically cleansed West Bank Palestinians under the Greater Israel plan.
What this all potentially amounts to is the end of pluralism in the Levant and its replacement by supremacism. An ethno-supremacist Greater Israel and a religio-supremacist Salafist Greater Syria.
Unlike many readers, I have never been a fan of the Assad regime or blind to its human rights violations. But what it did undeniably do was maintain a pluralist state where the most amazing historical religious and community traditions – including Sunni (and many Sunni do support Assad), Shia, Alaouites, descendants of the first Christians, and speakers of Aramaic, the language of Jesus – were all able to co-exist.
The same is true of Lebanon.
What we are witnessing is the destruction of that and imposition of a Saudi-style rule. All the little cultural things that indicate pluralism – from Christmas trees to language classes to winemaking to women going unveiled – have just been destroyed in Aleppo and could be destroyed from Damascus to Beirut.
I do not pretend that there are not genuine liberal democrats among the opposition to Assad. But they have negligible military significance, and the idea that they would be influential in a new government is delusion.
In Israel, which pretended to be a pluralist state, the mask is off. The Muslim call to prayer has just been banned. Arab minority members of the Knesset have been suspended for criticising Netanyahu and genocide. More walls and gates are built every day, not just in unlawfully occupied territories but in the “state of Israel” itself, to enforce apartheid.
I confess I once had the impression that Hezbollah was itself a religio-supremacist organisation; the dress and style of its leadership look theocratic. Then I came here and visited places like Tyre, which has been under Hezbollah elected local government for decades, and found that swimwear and alcohol are allowed on the beach and the veil is optional, while there are completely unmolested Christian communities there.
I will never now see Gaza, but wonder if I might have been similarly surprised by Hamas rule.
It is the United States which is promoting the cause of religious extremism and of the end, all over the Middle East, of a societal pluralism similar to Western norms. That is of course a direct consequence of the United States being allied to both the two religio-supremacist centres of Israel and Saudi Arabia.
It is the USA which is destroying pluralism, and it is Iran and its allies which defend pluralism. I would not have seen this clearly had I not come here. But once seen, it is blindingly obvious.

Palestinian Resistance Groups React: New Boss, Same As Old Boss
https://x.com/BigBreakingWire/status/1854166174453375297
Our imperial overlords sneak their warmongering moves into the news cycle when they think it will be least noticed.
I thought it might be of interest to readers to see reactions from people impacted by U.S. foreign policy. This content is available on Telegram, but you will not see it in your corporate news feed.

From the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (English translation from same source):
Trump’s victory will reinforce the American anti-Palestinian approach, and the Democratic Party’s loss is a natural result of its direct involvement in the zionist war of genocide.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s victory in the U.S. elections does not, in any way, signify a real change in the hostile approach that successive American administrations have pursued against our Palestinian people and their just cause. There is no fundamental difference between the Republican and Democratic parties; both have contributed to supporting the zionist entity and participated in the war of genocide against our people, whether through policies or unlimited military and diplomatic support.
Our people have never placed their hopes on any candidate from either the Democratic or Republican parties, as we have never witnessed any positive change in U.S. administration policies, which have consistently aligned fully with the zionist entity, providing it with military funding and all forms of political, legal, and diplomatic protection.
The Democratic Party’s loss is a logical result of its complicity with the zionist entity; it rejected calls from supporters of the Palestinian people, the Palestinian community, and Arab and Muslim communities in the United States to pressure for an end to the war of genocide in Gaza, continuing its support for aggression against our people. Today, the Democrats are paying the price for ignoring these demands at the ballot box.
We in the Popular Front do not expect any positive development from a Donald Trump administration; rather, we anticipate an escalation in hostile policies against our people, fully biased in favor of the zionist entity.
We call on supporters of the Palestinian people, as well as movements, organizations, and groups that stand with our cause in the United States, to intensify pressure on the new U.S. administration to end its support for the zionist entity. [emphasis mine]
We see in the popular and student movements that stand in solidarity with Gaza, along with the emergence of small, free voices and parties, a glimmer of hope that could contribute to even a slight change in the U.S. stance on our cause.
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Central Media Dept, Nov 6, 2024
From the Popular Resistance Committees (English translation from same source):
The Republican and Democratic parties are two identical faces in entrenching American tyranny and supporting zionism in the genocidal wars it waged against our Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and our nation.
America is the enemy of peoples; it is a symbol of tyranny and arrogance, ruling the world with iron and fire, igniting wars and the flames of hatred across the entire globe.
America, with all its components, parties, and councils, stands behind the support for the zionist entity with all kinds of shells, rockets, and destructive weapons that wreak havoc on our people in Palestine and Lebanon.
Our people rely solely on their steadfastness, the valor of their resistance, and the support of the Axis of Resistance and the free people of the nation and the world in confronting the genocide and massacres they are subjected to. All successive American administrations are enemies of our people, our nation, and of free peoples.

From Hamas (English translation from same source):
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Press Statement on the Results of the U.S. Presidential Election
In light of the results indicating Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. election, we, in the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas, affirm the following:
1. Our position regarding the new U.S. administration will depend on its stances and practical actions towards our Palestinian people, their legitimate rights, and their just cause.
2. It is unfortunate to note that all successive U.S. administrations, since the occupation of Palestine in 1948, have held negative stances on the Palestinian cause. They have consistently been the primary supporter of the zionist occupation in all fields, and the previous administration followed a path biased towards occupation and aggression, providing political and military cover for zionist war criminals to continue some of the most horrific acts of genocide in modern history, solidifying its role as a full partner in the killing of tens of thousands of our people, including children, women, and the elderly.
3. We call for an end to the blind bias toward the zionist occupation and for serious and genuine efforts to stop the war of extermination and aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, to end the aggression against our brotherly Lebanese people, to halt the provision of military support and political cover for the zionist entity, and to recognize our people’s legitimate rights.
4. The elected U.S. President is urged to heed the voices that have risen from within American society itself for more than a year since the zionist aggression on Gaza, rejecting occupation and genocide and objecting to support and bias toward the zionist entity. [emphasis mine]
5. The new U.S. administration must understand that our Palestinian people will continue to confront the abhorrent zionist occupation and will not accept any path that detracts from their legitimate rights to freedom, independence, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

Police Shove Protesters, Demand They Stop Terrorizing Children With Evidence Of Terrorized Children
Push came to shove -- literally -- today when my husband and I attempted to block an entrance to General Dynamics' bomb factory in Saco, Maine. Our friend who was serving as police liaison later told us the chief of police was so angered by our pre-dawn appearance that he had to take a walk to cool down. Apparently we had betrayed the trust of the Saco PD who had "tried to work with you all" during past demonstrations. Inexplicably, no one was arrested and we went home with all our materials.
Many empty threats were made, however. Police threatened to arrest someone for swearing over the loudspeaker and also threatened to charge someone for the cost of cleaning up the watercolor "blood" that so appropriately filled the potholes and gutters of the GD plant's main driveway.
They even brought out the principal of Young Elementary, a K-5 school that is directly across the street from the factory and, incidentally, the fire department. (If there's no danger to the schoolchildren from the factory then why did the town locate their new fire station rights on its doorstep?)
Many of the visuals shared today by the 35 people who turned out at dawn underscored the harm to children being done by GD bombs shipped by the U.S. and dropped on Gaza by Israel.
There were child-size shrouds labeled with the names and ages of children from 11 months to teenagers.
There were posters made from photos of the mangled and dead children now buried in Gaza.
There was a sign focusing on a number of child amputees that was particularly moving.
There were the handcuffed and blindfolded "detainees" crying out, "They killed my children!" "What have you done with my child?"
Then there was the soundtrack with explosions, machine gun fire, and other random sounds of war. The police demanded that be turned off before the schoolchildren arrived for the day, but that was the plan all along.
School busses passing by saw quite a scene this morning. Many motorists honked and waved in solidarity. Some gave the middle finger or chanted, "Trump, Trump" as they passed. At our closing circle I picked up a Harris-Walk campaign sign that was lying on the ground.
"Taking out the trash?" asked a young activist.
It's now been a solid year of genocide in Gaza, with no end in sight. For the second time in my life the general public's discontent with a U.S. sponsored war is the issue in a presidential election that takes place a week from tomorrow.
As one of many good signs today said, "Your silence will be studied by your grandchildren."
When will we ever learn?

Three Strikes You're Out?
https://x.com/HossamShabat/status/1843743248680136963
I got up in the early morning hours of October 9 to find
that three things had happened: Israeli troops had sealed off northern Gaza and
begun slaughtering people there after bombing a flour warehouse in the one remaining bakery; the U.S.-Israel had bombed suburbs of Beirut with depleted uranium
ordnance; and the U.S.-Israel had bombed
residential areas of Damascus in Syria.
I will say U.S.-Israel from now on to acknowledge the fact that, for the purposes of WWIII, they are one and the same. Operating both nations as sock puppets so that Biden can pretend to feel things about Bibi's conduct of the war doesn't really fool anyone, though the talking heads of corporate media must pretend to believe. (Until they self-immolate like CBS worker Samuel Mena just did outside the White House.)
The first two overnight occurrences were the most troubling: Israeli soldiers
shooting at children and their families in a concentration camp setting is not
new but it is especially horrific after a solid year of forced marches and deliberate starvation in the Gaza strip, and in light of announced plans to “cleanse” northern Gaza of
any Palestinian presence in order to turn it into a permanent Israeli military
zone. As someone I can't find again on Twitter observed, the Zionists have now done everything the
Nazis did to their ancestors except build gas chambers. No need to tattoo numbers
on anybody’s arms these days; digital surveillance technology has taken care of
that.
Sounds like enough atrocities, doesn't it? But wait, there's more.
Depleted uranium was used extensively by the U.S. in the illegal war on Iraq, so we already know of its horrors. Covering large areas with radioactive dust that will outlive all of us, causing miscarriages and horrific birth defects when pregnant women are exposed, and causing lots of kinds of cancer.
Iraqi girl Farah after three operations to correct deformities caused by exposure to D.U. in uteroWhat have the humans of Lebanon done to deserve this treatment? The government of Lebanon allows the U.S. to operate a military base there, but Hezbollah arose and grew in strength in direct response to repeated violence inflicted by Israel on civilians. After witnessing the Sabra and Shatila refugee camp massacres of a previous war with Israel, who can blame them?
Incinerating people in Damascus and burying them in rubble is the
signature act of depravity we’ve come to expect since October 7, 2023. As
horrific as the rest, and also a worrying sign that the U.S.-Israel is going
for broke, expanding to a regional war that promises to drawn in not only
powerhouse Iran but unvanquished Russia on Syria’s behalf. Iran
gave up its nuclear weapon program in a diplomatic deal during the Obama
administration; now comes news that it is seriously considering restarting that
project. Who can blame them?
Russia of course has nukes including so called tactical nukes that are still vastly more powerful than the bombs the U.S. dropped on Japan in WWII. And both Russia and Iran have hypersonic weapons that are nearly impossible for the Iron Dome (or Iron Sieve as it’s now revealed to be) to intercept. The U.S.-Israel has nukes, too, of course and it's pretty clear that no act of war is too awful for them to contemplate. Is Tehran next?
Former arms inspector Scott Ritter thinks it could be, but also thinks that it will hasten rather than delay Israel's demise as a nation.
now Israel is being bombarded on a near-daily basis by long-range drones, rockets, and missiles fired from Hezbollah, militias in Iraq, and the Houthi in Yemen. The Iranian ballistic missile attack of Oct. 1 vividly demonstrated to all Israelis the reality that there is no viable defense against these attacks.
Moreover, if the Israel-Iran conflict continues to escalate (and Israel has promised a retaliation of immense proportions), Iran has indicated it will destroy Israel’s critical infrastructure — power plants, water desalinization plants, energy production and distribution centers — in short, Israel will cease being able to function as a modern nation state.
It's not a question of if but a question of when the empire that Zionists built will fall. But will its collapse precede Armageddon, or usher it in?
